Fire Suppression Agents

fire sup.png

Over the past 35 years, water-less fire suppression agents have become far more eco-friendly. For many years, Halon 1301 was the most commonly used agent in facilities with large expensive electrical infrastructure. Due to the limited availability of Halon and the fact that it can no longer be produced in, or imported to the United States, Halon 1211, 1301 and 2402 are still in demand in applications. The replacement for Halon agents became HFC-227, HFC-125, FM-200. These agents do not have the value of the Halon agents, but depending on the current market, they could hold value in their own right.

Critical Asset Recovery is experienced in the purchase, removal, packaging, shipping and proper disposal of fire suppression agents at an EPA certified recycling facility. If you are planning on decommissioning your facility with fire suppression agent, or reselling your system, give us a call.
